
When masterplanners Urban Initiatives were commissioned to draw up an Area Action Plan for the Aylesbury Estate in South London they needed to reach a diverse and fatigued local population which, despite ten years of consultation, had seen little change.
Quatro’s creative programme of community involvement managed to increase overall participation by 38% and achieved an 11% engagement rate amongst 16-24 year olds, up from almost zero. The AAP has now been adopted.
